Profile of Project Area

Sega Silicon Valley (SSV) is a unique program for Sega, a village located in Siaya District, Nyanza
Province in western Kenya. It is implemented by the Sega Community Members and Kenyans Living in
the Diaspora. It aims at general improvement of living standards in Sega village. Starting from
constructing indispensable infrastructure through renovating buildings, furnishing classrooms and
equipping schools with necessary materials. The multiphase character of the program assumes longterm
help resulting to structural changes bringing forth general development of the village. A modern
